About Janalu

 
Janalu has always been captivated by yoga’s transformative power, drawn to its ability to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit. Her teaching journey began in Knysna, where she completed her yoga teacher training and immediately felt called to share this sacred practice through private and group classes.
  
With a solid foundation of 360 hours of specialized training, Janalu’s qualifications include:
 
200-hour RYT Multi-Style Yoga Certification
 
100-hour Yin Yoga Training
 
Additional studies in Ayurveda, Chair Yoga, and Holistic Health
 
100+ hours of teaching experience
 
Janalu’s heartfelt mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can embark on their journey of self-discovery, cultivate resilience, and weave the wisdom of yoga into their daily lives. Services

Janalu offers an integrative yoga experience across Cape Town, and especially the the beautiful Helderberg area, serving Gardens, Somerset West, Gordon’s Bay, and Strand. Her teaching style blends multiple yoga styles to create a holistic and transformative practice. Hatha Yoga: This invigorating practice emphasizes mindful movement, breath awareness, and proper alignment to help you build strength, improve flexibility, and cultivate balance. Yin Yoga: A soothing, restorative practice that features longer-held postures designed to gently release tension, improve joint mobility, and promote deep relaxation. Each of Janalu’s yoga classes is thoughtfully tailored to meet students at their current level, whether you're new to the practice or an experienced yogi. Meditation, breathwork (pranayama), and philosophical insights are woven into every session to deepen your connection to body, mind, and spirit. Janalu provides supportive props like yoga blocks and straps to make poses accessible and empowering for everyone, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for students of all abilities.
